With social media fast becoming the go-to place to connect with people and find out what is happening in the world, which form of social media do you prefer and why?
Personally I feel that I get more from Twitter than Facebook. I’ve been a member of Facebook for about 5 years and am beginning to get a bit fed up of it now. It does have it’s uses, but I think Twitter is a lot better.
I can constantly see what is happening in the world at any given time by just looking at what is trending, and more often than not I can find out about something before it gets into the mainstream press.
Take sport for example. I’m a massive Rugby League fan, so the easiest way for me to find out what is happening around the grounds is to look at the #rugbyleague hashtag. This can be done for almost any sport.
